How to apply (Sydney School Leavers)

  • Apply via UAC and preference Notre Dame – Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Assured Pathway into Medicine) (Sydney).
  • Complete the UCAT ANZ in the year of application and include your UCAT ANZ ID.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview.

Eligibility (School-Leaver Assured Pathway)

  • Minimum ATAR: 92 (or equivalent). No adjustment factors are applied to the minimum ATAR.
  • Apply within one year of completing secondary school.
  • UCAT ANZ: required.
  • Interview: required, and are held in November.
  • Not accepted for entry: STAT, VET/TAFE, or prior higher education study.

Maintaining Assured Status during the Bachelor of Biomedical Science

  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 each semester in the Biomedical Science (Assured) program to remain eligible to progress to the MD.

Sub-quotas (within national cap)

  • Up to 10 Rural and up to 10 Indigenous places nationally (evidence/forms required).
