| Entry requirements | **How to apply (School Leavers)**  - Apply via **TISC** (Tertiary Institutions Service Centre) and include your **UCAT ANZ ID** in the application. - Complete both the **UCAT ANZ** and the **Casper** test in the year of application. - Selected applicants will be invited to a **Multiple Mini Interview (MMI)**. - Final ranking for offers uses a composite of **ATAR (or equivalent) + UCAT + MMI**.  **Academic prerequisites (School Leavers)**  - **Minimum ATAR:** **95** (or equivalent selection rank). - **Required subject:** **Chemistry ATAR** (or equivalent). Options to satisfy Chemistry include:      - Chemistry ATAR, final scaled score ≥ 50;     - IB Chemistry HL/SL grade ≥ 4;     - NCEA L3 Chemistry with 24 Achieved credits; or     - Two first-year university Chemistry units (each 25 credits or equivalent) with ≥ 60% in both. - **Desirable:** Mathematics (Applications/Methods/Specialist) and Human Biology or Biology. - **STAT and Curtin Enabling Course:** Not accepted for MBBS entry.  **Predicted ATAR (Domestic &amp; International)**  - **No form required.** - For current **Year 12 WACE** students, a **Predicted ATAR** is automatically calculated from **Year 11 results** and is available via **TISC**. - **IB and interstate** applicants should **upload their Year 11 reports/results** in their TISC application.  **Other selection requirements**  - **UCAT ANZ:** required. - **Casper:** required (Acuity Insights Assessments). - **Interview:** MMI. - **Equity/Rural/First Nations pathways:** available via Curtin Medical School (additional forms and deadlines apply).  **Curtin Medical Entry Casper Test**  Applicants must complete the Casper in the same calendar year as their application, selecting one of the official test dates and sitting the online assessment on that date. **Acuity Insights registration is required.**  - School Leavers and Curtin Course Switchers: take the Undergraduate Casper. - Non-School Leavers (graduates): take the Postgraduate Casper.  Selection uses your Casper score alongside ATAR and UCAT. Curtin does not adjust or grant special consideration for Casper results; direct any test-related questions to Acuity Insights.  **Ranking for interview**  - A weighted composite of **ATAR (35%) + Casper (35%) + UCAT (30%)**. - Shortlisted applicants receive interview invitations.  **Curtin medical interview (MMI)**  - **Purpose of the MMI:** Assess communication, critical appraisal, awareness of key issues, and personal attributes essential for medicine. - **Who gets invited:** Top-ranked eligible applicants **in each entry pathway** are invited to a **Multiple Mini Interview (MMI)**. - **Format:** **Primarily face-to-face**; **limited online** slots for interstate/overseas applicants. **Process is identical** for both modes. - **First Nations pathway:** A separate selection process applies for **Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander** applicants (see Curtin Medicine guidance).  **Ranking for an offer of a place in Curtin University Medicine**  Applicants will be ranked for offers based on a weighted combination of their academic merit score (actual ATAR or equivalent), UCAT score (out of 2700) and interview performance in the ratio 40:20:40.
