# Curtin Medicine Casper Test Requirement

Important information for students applying to Curtin University Medicine

## Quick Summary

If you are applying for **Curtin University Medicine**, the Casper Test is an important part of the application process. In addition to UCAT and academic results, eligible applicants must also complete Casper as part of their application requirements.

Casper is completed online from home and is designed to assess personal and professional qualities such as communication, judgement, empathy, ethics and decision-making.

## Who Needs to Sit Casper?

- School leaver applicants applying to Curtin Medicine must complete the relevant Casper Test.
- Curtin course switchers and non-school leaver applicants may also need to complete Casper as part of the admissions process.
- Casper results are generally valid only for the relevant admissions cycle, so students re-applying in a later year may need to sit Casper again.
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants should check Curtin’s official admissions information, as different entry requirements may apply.
- Students are responsible for registering for Casper and ensuring they sit the correct test type by the required deadline.
