Please visit CQ University website for more details.  **Subject prerequisites:** Year 12 English, Mathematical Methods, One of Biology, Chemistry or Physics.  **Recommended studies:** Chemistry, English, Mathematical Methods, One of Biology, Chemistry or Physics.  **CQU medical interview dates:**  Invitations for CQU Medicine interviews are usually extended via email in mid- to late October, and Pathway to Medicine student interviews will be held on **25, 26 and 27 November 2025**  **MMI assessment**  Students will be assessed on a range of humanistic skills, such as communication, teamwork, empathy, and integrity.  **Admission Requirements**  - Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or holders of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa. - Completion of Grade 12 at first attempt in the application year is required, along with specific subject completions: English, Mathematical Methods, and one science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). - An adjusted ATAR of 95 or higher and a UCAT score from the application year are mandatory. - Selected applicants must complete a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) as part of the selection process.  **Selection Process**  - Candidates are ranked based on their UCAT aggregate score, with additional differentiation using Section 4 and Section 1 scores. - A tiered system prioritises candidates from Medical Pathways footprints and regional/rural areas, with 50% of offers reserved for Queensland candidates. - A minimum MMI score of 48/80 is required for provisional offers, with final scores calculated from ATAR, UCAT, and MMI performance.  **Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Admission**  - Applicants identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander can apply through a specific pathway, requiring completion of Grade 12 or mature-age status and attendance at a semi-structured interview. - Selection is based on recommendations from the Indigenous Engagement Division, with similar MMI score requirements as general admission. - Successful candidates must complete specific units within the Bachelor of Medical Science to progress to the Doctor of Medicine. |
